She graduated in Clarinet from the “G. Donizetti” Conservatory in Bergamo under the guidance of Maestro Angelo Teora. During her studies, she also attended complementary piano courses, successfully completing the relevant examination. She subsequently earned a degree in Musicology from the University of Pavia.
She continued her studies by pursuing advanced training with Fabrizio Meloni, Antony Pay at the Accademia Musicale di Padova, Richard Stoltzman at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, and Patrick Crispini at the Accademia di Studi Musicali di Verbania.
She is actively involved in chamber music, performing in a variety of ensembles, including piano duo, piano trio with cello, clarinet quartet, wind quintet, and wind octet.
She has toured extensively in Colorado, China, Switzerland, France, Spain, Germany, Ireland, Singapore, Thailand, Tanzania, and Norway, performing as part of orchestras and chamber ensembles, as well as a soloist. She has also performed in major cities throughout Italy.
She has collaborated as Principal and Second Clarinet with the Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, the Orchestra I Pomeriggi Musicali in Milan, Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, Teatro Coccia in Novara, the Orchestra of Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo, the Orchestra of the Brescia and Bergamo International Piano Festival, the Omnia Symphony Orchestra of Brescia, and the OFI Orchestra of Brescia.
In May 2023, she was invited by Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London to give a masterclass for the clarinet classes and the wind department, focusing on study and practice methodologies.
In July 2023, she was invited to Denver, Colorado, for the 50th World Clarinet Congress, where she performed with the Professors’ Clarinet Choir and the Festival Clarinet Choir. In the same year, she was invited by the Italian Clarinet Academy in Cesena as a masterclass instructor and performed as bass clarinetist with the “Clarinettomania Bass Clarinet Orchestra,” alongside Luis Gomes, Rocco Parisi, Sophie Schouten, Stephan Vermeersch, and Paolo De Gaspari.
In January 2024, she toured China with the “Italian Academy Orchestra,” performing twenty concerts as Principal Clarinet in major Chinese cities. In May 2024, she gave an advanced course on 20th-century clarinet repertoire at the Conservatorio Superior de Música “Óscar Esplá” in Alicante, Spain.
She has taught Clarinet at the “Tito Schipa” Conservatory in Lecce (Ceglie branch), the “Stanislao Giacomantonio” Conservatory in Cosenza, and the Peri Conservatory in Reggio Emilia.
She currently holds a permanent teaching position in Clarinet at the “Niccolò Paganini” Conservatory in Genoa.
