Born in Sava (Taranto), he graduated in Piano from the Tito Schipa Conservatory in Lecce. He continued his musical training in Rome under the guidance of Lya De Barberiis and attended advanced courses for three years with Aldo Ciccolini.
For approximately five years, he served as President of ACEM, the E. Majorana Cultural Association. He pursues an intensive career as a teacher and concert pianist, performing both as a soloist and in collaboration with other musicians.
He founded AIMA (Accademia Italiana Musica e Arte) to continue and further develop the educational work he had begun with ACEM at a secondary school in Rome. This project was recognized and awarded in 1997 at the Annual Forum of Public Administration, as part of the “One Hundred Projects for the Improvement of Public Services” competition promoted by the Italian Ministry for Public Administration.
As President and Artistic Director of ACEM, he promoted and organized approximately 80 musical performances as well as several theatrical productions. He subsequently continued his work as Artistic Director at AIMA, where he has produced numerous concerts at various venues and concert halls throughout Rome.
He served as Artistic Director of a concert featuring the Philadelphia Rock Council High School Symphony Orchestra (USA), which, while touring Italy, selected AIMA to organize a concert in Rome.
Alongside his concert activities, he directs the AIMA Music School, which has achieved a high level of recognition and distinction at the national level. He continues to combine his work as Artistic Director with his activities as a piano teacher and concert pianist.
